Parents

We consider strong collaboration between parents and the school to be highly important. A successful partnership between parents and the school is essential to ensure that all our students can excel. Research shows that parents who are engaged in their child's education contribute to better academic outcomes for their child. Therefore, we have established a partnership with parents.

Gro-up Peutercentrum De Kleine Alm (Preschool Center)

Peuteropvang (preschool childcare) De Kleine Alm is located within the school building. The classroom is designed to provide an optimal environment for your toddler. It includes a playhouse corner, a reading corner, a building corner, and a mini-city. If your toddler enjoys creative activities, they can explore the art studio. Of course, outdoor activities are also part of the routine. We have a nice, newly designed outdoor space right next to the classroom. In this preschool center, toddlers are prepared for their school years. The groups also accommodate children with developmental delays to help bridge any gaps they might have. We collaborate with the preschool center "De Kleine Alm" to establish a seamless transition from preschool education to kindergarten. De Kleine Alm also offers activities in English.

 

Fantasiehuis De Groene Weide (After-School Care)

At Fantaziehuis De Groene Weide, children have ample space to have a great time after school. There's a large playground with multiple play structures just outside the door. Older children can play hide and seek in the bushes or have fun on the zipline.

Our club offerings give children the opportunity to discover their talents and interests. For instance, we have a kitchen where children can cook. Additionally, children create beautiful crafts in the technology room. If they want to burn off some energy, they can have a blast in the gymnasium.

Even during school vacations and study days, there's plenty to do at our facility! Each vacation has its own exciting theme with creative and sporty activities. We make every vacation a celebration with the children.

The after-school care is part of Kindcentrum Utrecht Hoge Weide and is located within Op de Groene Alm primary school. In this integrated child center, children remain in the same familiar environment after school.

Marnix Academie

Our school is affiliated with the Marnix Academie as a partner in education and development. We aim to contribute to the education of high-quality teachers and have chosen to partner with the Marnix. We provide internship opportunities to students from the Marnix Academie. Our teachers mentor these students, helping them become competent educators.
